Currently, if someone is getting removed from a lease and we assigning someone to the lease in their place (loosely referred to as a “sub-let”) we enter the new person as a new contact under the lease and assign them a future move-in date, and assign the current person with a move-out date. In theory then, any lease documents drafted should only include the current lease signers, if a sub-let’s move-in date is still in the future and that date has not commenced. Currently however, if there is a future move-in date for a sub-let, and we need to draft a letter or lease document for the current lease signers, the document creates with the sub-lets name on it too. Is this something that can be fixed? Can Property Boss be more intuitive to dates?
